Below is the procedure to revoke the General power of Attorney (GPA):

• Prepare the draft in word format. (Refer to above image for mock draft)
• Print the draft in normal A4 size paper
• Sign the “Revocation GPA” in front of notary or Indian consulate in your country (USA). Get the revocation GPA attested by notary or Indian consulate in your country
• Send the attested Revocation GPA to India through reputed shipping partner
• Your local assistance in India should carry following documents to District registrar office, in the judication of where the property is located
  • “Revocation of GPA” (which came from USA)
  • Stamp duty challan
  • Requisition letter for Adjudication
  • ID proof (Aadhaar or passport)
